James Pettit

Trainee Solicitor

James is a Trainee Solicitor within the Litigation Team at our Norwich office.

James graduated from the University of East Anglia in July 2018 with a 2.1 degree in Law. James then completed his LPC with BPP University in London, graduating in July 2020 with a distinction. James is currently studying to convert his LPC to a Masters in Commercial Legal Practice.

During his undergraduate degree, James volunteered with the Norfolk Community Law Service in the Housing Mediation team and for his local Citizens' Advice Bureau as a gateway assessor. Prior to joining Clapham & Collinge, James worked as a Paralegal in the Family Department at a firm in South Essex.

James joined Clapham & Collinge LLP in August 2019 as a Paralegal within the Litigation team. He commenced his training contract in August 2020 and undertook his first seat in the firm's Private Client Team, before moving into the firm's Litigation Team for his second seat.

Outside of work, James particularly enjoys playing and watching football. James also enjoys running, reading and socialising with family and friends.
