Summer Vacation Scheme
At Clapham & Collinge LLP we’re offering law students the chance to gain real work experience and transferable legal skills within a Legal 500 recognised law firm.
The scheme takes place annually and offers one-week voluntary placements at our head office in Norwich throughout July and August 2021. During each placement, successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with partners, lawyers, paralegals and trainees across various practice areas such as commercial litigation and disputes, employment and commercial property.
Successful applicants will undertake a variety of practical and administrative tasks during their placement, including carrying out research, attending client meetings and working on real client cases (with the supervision of our legal team).
Our vacation scheme differs from other schemes as we will have one candidate per placement, which means each candidate will have an exclusive opportunity to gain valuable one-to-one work experience working directly with our legal team.
The scheme will give participants the opportunity to get to know Clapham & Collinge, our workforce, values and culture. Many of our trainees and qualified solicitors participated in the vacation scheme before joining the firm as an employee, so this could be the perfect opportunity to kick-start your legal career at a leading law firm in Norfolk.
Please note, the delivery of this scheme is subject to all Covid-19 restrictions being removed in accordance with the agreed timetable proposed by the Government.
Monday 5th July – Monday 23rd August (one week per placement).
