Susannah Parr


Susannah is a Private Client Solicitor based at our Norwich office, having joined the firm in May 2021.

Susannah graduated in 1994 from the University of St Andrews with an MA in English Language and Literature. During this period, she was awarded a one-year scholarship at the University of California, Los Angeles to study the Philosophy of Literature.

Susannah undertook postgraduate law conversion courses (The Common Professional Examination and The Legal Practice Course) at the College of Law in York, before completing her training contract with a leading firm of York solicitors. After qualifying as a Solicitor, she worked solely in Private Client roles in Leeds and Harrogate before moving to Norfolk with her family.

A full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2004, Susannah is also a Full Professional Member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Since her qualification in 2000, Susannah has developed a broad range of Private Client skills, having particular interest in the rights of individuals with mental health and mental capacity issues. Susannah also has significant experience advising on the legal responsibilities of trustees, attorneys and deputies.

Susannah is married with two children and lives close to Norwich. Her interests include gardening, her numerous dogs, early 20th century detective literature, and black and white films, with particular emphasis on mystery and horror!
