Mario Anastasiades

Director (Solicitor)

Mario Anastasiades graduated in Law with an LLB (Hons) at the University of East Anglia.

Since then, he worked in Local Government in London and then with two other private practice firms in Northampton. Subsequently, he spent a large part of his career to date in a Leicestershire firm before returning to Norfolk.

His achievements include the following:

  • Former HM Deputy Coroner for Leicester and South Leicestershire.
  • Former President of the East Midlands Coroners Society.
  • Former President of the Leicester Medico-legal society.
  • Former Chair of the Hinckley Citizens Advice Bureau.
  • Former Chair of the Leicester Counselling Centre.
  • Former Governor of a Primary school in Rugby, Warwickshire.

He has gained a wide range of experience in dealing with Inquests, Clinical Negligence claims, serious personal injury claims, Commercial disputes, Building and other civil disputes and was latterly in the Dispute Resolution Team.

In addition, he enjoys advocacy, including in the Employment Tribunal and County Court.

He advises on employment law matters including HR issues, grievances and disciplinary procedures and has had many successful outcomes in the Employment Tribunal acting for individuals and businesses.

He is a keen Manchester United fan but also enjoys watching Norwich City FC. He is bi-lingual in that he speaks fluent Greek. He enjoys the theatre and cinema.

He enjoys writing fiction in his spare time and was recently a contributor to a published book ( an anthology) for the Lutterworth Writers Group.
