Thomas is a Paralegal in the Court of Protection team at Clapham & Collinge LLP’s Norwich office. He joined the firm in January 2025 after passing SQE1 and graduating with a 2:1 in Law (LLB Hons) from Lancaster University, where he specialised in commercial law.
In his current role, Thomas supports a wide range of Court of Protection matters, including complex applications involving financial and welfare decisions. With a strong foundation in commercial law, he brings a structured, analytical approach to private client work, particularly where cases intersect with financial management and capacity issues. He is a diligent and driven team player, known for managing high volume workloads with precision and actively seeking opportunities to contribute beyond his immediate responsibilities.
Originally from Norwich, Thomas values the opportunity to support vulnerable individuals in his local community and is committed to developing his expertise in this field. His commercial background complements the department’s work by providing a broader perspective on decision-making, risk, and long-term client outcomes.
Outside of work, Thomas plays for a local men’s basketball team and enjoys staying active.
