On Thursday 14th December, we hosted our first corporate Christmas event at our Norwich office, in support of The Benjamin Foundation. This black tie event featured mulled wine on arrival, Roulette with professional Croupiers, performances from the UEA Jazz Collective and Invidia Voices Rock and Soul Choir, Christmas canapés and a Belgian chocolate fountain for guests to enjoy.
Fundraising activities during the event included a raffle and auction, with a number of exclusive prizes donated by generous guests and local businesses. We are delighted to have raised a total of £1228 for The Benjamin Foundation from our Christmas Extravaganza.
The Benjamin Foundation provides a range of services and support to people of all ages with issues such as homelessness and building stronger family relationships and childcare. Chris Elliot, Marketing and Fundraising Manager at The Benjamin Foundation said "We are so grateful for Clapham & Collinge's continued support and are thrilled by their fundraising efforts. They put on an excellent event and their guests' generosity helps us continue to be there for people throughout Norfolk and Suffolk who need our help."
Louis Hilldrup-Boorman, Marketing Manager at Clapham & Collinge said ''As this was our first Christmas event, with a totally unique format and vibe, we are very pleased the total funds raised and this is certainly something we can build on each year. A special thanks to Lyn McAlister of 7 Surrey Street for the festive canapes, Darren Williams of Kings & Queens Fun Casino's, Julia Holland of All About Image, Invidia Voices Rock & Soul Choir and UEA Jazz collective.''
