Clapham & Collinge LLP donates £1000 to social enterprise The Feed

Here at Clapham & Collinge LLP, we are delighted to donate £1000 to social enterprise The Feed to support its plans to expand with a food truck.

Based on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich city centre, The Feed's mission is to prevent poverty, hunger and homelessness in Norwich. At the heart of this work is motivating people who've been out of work for a long time and helping them on the path to employment. The Feed does this in many ways including one-to-one support, group sessions and providing work experience in their cafe and catering business.

The Feed's plans to launch a food truck will offer another income stream for the social enterprise, by providing catering at festivals, events, venues and private bookings around the county.

Louis Hilldrup-Boorman, Associate and Marketing Manager at Clapham & Collinge LLP said: ''It's been an incredibly difficult year for the charity sector, with demand increasing for many charities yet limited opportunities to fundraise. We have previously worked with The Feed to provide catering at corporate functions and charitable events. The catering offering is excellent and helps the business to fulfil their social purpose so we're delighted to support The Feed with their growth plans and act as one of the sponsors for their food truck.''

Clapham & Collinge LLP has a long standing commitment in community engagement within Norfolk and we support many charities locally, through sponsorship and fundraising.

Chris Elliott, Corporate Relations Officer at The Feed said "Clapham & Collinge's kind support means we can push forward our search for the right truck to buy and aim to have it ready for the summer. As well as being a new way to support our work it will be able to provide new work experience opportunities for our clients.''
