Clapham & Collinge Solicitors taking part in Norwich Sleep Out 2019

On Thursday 14th November, 7 members of the Clapham & Collinge team will be taking part in The Benjamin Foundation's annual 'Norwich Sleep Out' to tackle youth homelessness in our region.

Holly Postle, Molly Byrne, Jacqueline Sherlock, Jessica Bailey, Darby Reeve, James Brighton and Natalie Smith will be spending the night at Norwich City Football Club alongside many other organisations to build awareness of the issue of homelessness in our region, whilst raising much-needed funds. Clapham & Collinge have supported the Benjamin Foundation's annual 'Sleep Out' event since its first large scale event in 2015 and this year we are proud to support the event with our biggest team yet.

The Benjamin Foundation provide a home and support to over 100 vulnerable young adults each night. In 2017 they provided over 40,000 safe nights accommodation for vulnerable young adults. The charity gives young people stability and supports their education, training and careers; ensuring they have life skills such as shopping, cooking and being able to budget their money so they can forge an independent life.

Chris Elliott, Marketing and Fundraising Manager at The Benjamin Foundation said "We are delighted that Clapham and Collinge have a team taking part as they have in each year since we started the event in 2015. In addition they have staff volunteering to help run the event. We're grateful for this support in addition to being our legal services provider".

Over the coming months, the Clapham & Collinge team will be raising funds and securing sponsorship from friends, family and colleagues. They are off to a flying start, having raised almost 30% of their target in the first week of fundraising. If you'd like to sponsor our team and this very worthy cause, please visit their fundraising page. Any donations (however big or small) are hugely appreciated!

The Sleep Out will take place on Thursday 14th November from 7.00pm to 7.00am the following day. Those taking part need to pay a registration fee of £25.00 (+ a small administration fee) and raise a minimum of £100.00 in sponsorship.
