Temperatures have been unseasonably high for this time of year and we've been blessed with a remarkably mild and bright week. This time last year (almost to the day) the so called 'Beast from the East' swept the nation, with sub-zero temperatures and vicious winter weather causing disruption across the country. Scarfs and gloves were absolutely necessary last February, as freezing temperatures gripped the region… What a difference a year makes! This week we've experienced unexpected spring-like temperatures with most parts of the country basking in glorious sunshine, and with that in mind we thought there was no better time to launch our favourite summer event…Lunch on the Green!
Billed as the highlight of the Norwich networking calendar, Lunch on the Green is Clapham & Collinge's annual summer networking and fundraising event in support of Break Charity. Last year we celebrated Lunch on the Green's 10th anniversary (coinciding with Break's 50th anniversary) and we were delighted to have raised £7971 for Break. 43 businesses exhibited and over 300 guests attended, making it our biggest event yet. This year, we want to make it even bigger!
This year's Lunch on the Green is taking place on Wednesday 10th July from 12.00 Noon – 3.00pm. Tickets are now available to purchase and exhibition opportunities are available.
