David joined Clapham & Collinge in October 2025 as a Consultant Solicitor based at our Sheringham office. He specialises in commercial and civil dispute resolution, bringing a wealth of experience and a pragmatic approach to helping clients resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively.
Before joining the firm, David ran his own successful legal practice for over 17 years, assisting clients with matters ranging from small claims to multi-million-pound disputes. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner in a large Norwich law firm, where he headed the commercial litigation department for more than a decade.
After taking time out to travel the world with his wife, David returned to Norfolk and re-established his own practice in 2008, continuing to serve businesses and individuals across the region.
Outside of work, David enjoys writing (having penned a novel he describes as a work of ‘faction’), painting, and walking the North Norfolk coastline. A lifelong music enthusiast, he has a particular soft spot for Pink Floyd.
