Our pledge to match-fund The Benjamin Foundation’s Christmas Gift Appeal

At Clapham & Collinge LLP we have a long-standing commitment in community engagement and we take our corporate social responsibility very seriously. As long-term supporters of The Benjamin Foundation, we are absolutely delighted to be supporting them with their Christmas gift appeal by match-funding the first £2,000 of donations they receive. We recognise the festive period can often be a difficult time of year for young people, not to mention the challenges caused by covid-19, so we are proud to make a match-funding pledge to The Benjamin Foundation to help them continue providing vital services to children and young people across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Throughout November, businesses and individuals have been donating physical gifts as part of The Benjamin Foundation's Christmas Gift Appeal, ensuring children and young people receive a gift this festive season. Although the deadline for donating physical gifts has passed, you can still make a monetary donation to make Christmas a little brighter for the young people they support.

From just the cost of a stocking filler, you could show a young person they matter this Christmas:

  • £10 could pay for board games and puzzles for children
  • £15 could buy stationery, books or mindful, creative gifts for young people
  • £25 could pay for household items for a young person as they start to live independently

Sharon Matthews, Director of Operations, Children, Young People and Families with The Benjamin Foundation said: "Thank you to Clapham & Collinge Solicitors for supporting The Benjamin Foundation Christmas Appeal by pledging to match-fund donations to the value of £2,000. Christmas can often be a difficult time of year for many children and young people in Norfolk and Suffolk through no fault of their own. Donations from local people and businesses can make life a little brighter and we are incredibly grateful for this support."
